I may be buying an used 5th wheel from a dealer. It's possible the 5th wheel may be at the dealer for 4-5 weeks. What do I need to do to make sure I'm covered for any and all possible problems while it's at the dealer?

Make sure that you purchase insurance for the 5th Wheel effective the date of purchase listed on the sales contract. Don't wait to insure it. As long as it is not being kept at the dealership on consignment, your insurance should protect you against any covered loss. Depending on the type of problem that occurs it may be possible that the dealer could also hold some responsibility.
