I'd love to do some panning someday.
Are you doing your family's history or family tree? Man! A complete history would be a big job.

Howdy!

Crewchief, LW has been doing a lot of genealogy work for the past few years on the family trees. We just had DNA test for genealogy waiting for return.

Also been trying our hand a gold panning. Some in California and now in Alaska. Its not been easy and the creeks here in Alaska a very cold, even with rubber boots and gloves. Have tried medal detecting but still haven't found any gold yet (plenty of nails, screws, wire, bullets, pull tabs etc...)

We fulltime so fishing can be expensive with the purchase of license everywhere you travel.
