When we finally get to go FTing, the only hobby I'm going to keep is my Fender strat.

"Sweet Home Alabama" just wouldn't sound the same on any other guitar!

Good choice! Last winter in the RGV I suddenly realized I was spending most of my day at jam sessions somewhere in the park(s). Wife wasn't too happy but I sure was.
Sat in once with some guys that were excellent; found out afterwords most were retired professionals in that group. One guy played a sax, he used to play with Boots Randolph. Talk about outclassed___I sure am. "As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances there is a twilight where everything remains seemingly unchanged. And it is in such twilight that we all must be aware of change in the air - however slight - lest we become unwitting victims of darkness."___Supreme Court Justice William Douglas |

The Wicked Wanda and I go to a dance club, just a mile or so down the road. We have got to know the band like family. The two guitar guys own a recording studio on music row in Nashville and they sure can play. So every once in a while, I get a free, first class, 10 minute, guitar lesson from the pro's. Just watching these guys is insperational.
