Do any of you have two receivers (Direct TV) in your rig as we do? Any problems getting them both working on different channels?

Yes, we have 2 DirecTV receivers...one in the living room and one in the bedroom. We've had no problems watching different satellite programs on each TV.

This may or may not mean anything at all, but the question passed through my mind...

Did you by any chance swap locations of the receivers? I don't know if receivers are programed to be on a certain position of the multiswitch or not.

Just a rambling thought. May not even work that way...

Good luck,

Brian

The question is are you using a roof mounted satellite dish?

If you are then you probably only have one LNBF that can only point to one satellite at a time.

You can watch different satellite channels on the same satellite at the same time.

If you have an automatic dish, the one of your receivers will control which satellite you are pointing at.

If you have both non HD receivers you should have no problem using two receivers, as all your programs should come from the 101 satellite.

Unless you are trying to get local channels on one receiver and they may be on a different satellite from the 101. That would cause your problem.

You dish must have a dual LNB and separate cables(2) with one each running to each receiver.

I have one HD and one non HD receivers in my MH.
But I can feed them from two different roof dishes. One can get the 101/110/119 the other dish gets 99/101/103/110/119

You never mentioned what kind of dish you are using. A single, or 3 LNB dish? A dome or crank up? A automatic in motion or stationary? A portable dish with single, 3 or 5 LNB?
