In a CG with few open areas. Had the tripod dish set up but when we came back from a trip it was on the ground, either knocked over or wind blown. Having trouble now getting a good lock in the same spot. Can only get 40-45 sig strength and it bounces around a lot. Tends to be ok for a while then pixelates. Can switch to Transponder 1 or 3 on the test screen and get signals in the low 70's but it goes back to 2 when I quit the menu. Direct TV cust service gave me some song and dance that the LNB would only work on 2. Any sat techs out there who can tell me why they can't switch me to a different transponder. We have basic programing on 101W and no interest in pay channels or HD.

Thanks

It's possible that the arm was bent or the arm or LNB was moved out of position when the dish fell. Check all the attachments to be sure everything is in the correct spot. Usually things just get moved, but if something is bent, it may be very difficult to get it back where it belongs.

Just go measure another dish that is like yours. Check the angles and bend yours back as close as you can. It won't be far off. Now if you loose a lna your o.o.l. on a quick fix.

System magically fixed itself. Signal strength up in the 60's and I'm now on 21

On the 101 Satellite you are probably using all from 1 through 32 except 7-15-26.

You are not receiving all your programs on just one transponder.

All 101 Channels
