I have a 2001 Sportschassis SE that the bed is just falling apart; welds breaking, aluminum torn around the rivots. Anyone know where I can get a replacement bed preferably in steel and approximate cost?
Thanks in advance. |

Dont know where you are located, but Toterman on the HDT forum, David, builds a great looking bed also. You can go over there and find one of his posts and give him a PM, he will get back to you. Gene

tpotts There are numerous steel bed fabricators around. What part of the country are you in? I never understood why Sport Chassis uses aluminum and then adds ballast weight. Makes no sense to me. Even with steel beds a lot of MDT's need ballast.
