I have a M2 Sportchassis that has a 7 pin and 6 pin plug at the back of the truck I use the 7 pin for the fithwheel and would like to use the 6 pin for the car we tow at the same time. I would also like to know if I can put a taillight converter in the pigtail coming from the truck. Thank You All
Thank you Wayland I have used both plugs and I am not sure if I need the taillight converter I just use the right & left signal wires and the taillight wire it appears to work will have to see. Again thank you Wayland.
Other than isolating trailer wiring from the truck, the only time that a taillight converter (or equivalent) is necessary is to convert commercial trailer wiring, which has separate turn signal wiring, to conventioal truck and RV wiring, which is wired for a combined stop/tail/turn signal lamp.
