We are a retired couple and we are looking for an exchange for at least 1 month, 3 to 6 months is an option. Our daughter lives in Houston, Tx, an exchange in South U.S.A. would be great!

When were you looking to exchange? I live in central California (San Francisco area) and have a 26 ft Class A Safari Trek.

Oscar,

We are retired, so very open.
It's ok if the exchange is not at the same time.
We just came back from a 3 months trip in Morroco.
Our RV is a Challenger 108.
Here is a link to a presentation (in French):http://www.challenger.tm.fr/camping-car_fr/gamme.asp?gamme=mageopro

Hi Michel,
My family is planning a trip to Europe in October, 2007 and would like to rent or possibly exchange our home in Honolulu, Hawaii for the use of an RV in Europe for about two weeks. We fly into London on Sept. 28th and are particularly interested in visiting Italy. Our thought was to get an RV somewhere on the continent, hopefully not toooo many miles from Italy, and spend about ten to 12 days touring and sightseeing before flying back to London and home. There are 4 of us, my daughter, her husband, their 11 year old daughter, and myself...the grandmother. My three children and I had the good fortune of spending a year living in an RV in Europe in 1979-1980 and I am very anxious for my grandaughter and son-in-law to enjoy a similar experience. I mention this to assure you that we are quite experienced travelers and would take good care of your vehicle.

We are open to renting an RV or if it would be of interest, I have a nice, 4 bedroom, family oriented home in Honolulu with a swimming pool and hot tub, only a mile from the ocean, 8 miles from Waikiki, that we could exchange for the use of the RV.

If you would be interested in either of these options please let me know as soon as possible.

Thank You, Jackie

Michel,
I am just now thinking about spending time in France. I have never been to France but I would like to give it a try. I am a fulltimer and am retired as well so I can be anywhere anytime. I have a 99 Monaco Diplomat. One to three months is a start for me.

THE MESSAGE:
July- August 2008 : USA MOTORCYCLE /MOTORHOME TRIP SUMMER 2008

Bonsoir Madame , Monsieur ,

Our family has the project for next summer to cross the USA from West to
East : I , Olivier the father + one of the boys , on a recent Harley
Davidson we bought in Montana and the rest of the family : Corinne my wife
and the two other children plus Viviane , Corinne\'s Mother , who used to be
a professional truck driving school teacher and who will be in charge of
driving safely to destination the family and your motorhome to New York City
(your motorhome that we would like you to exchange for our home and car in
France).

in order to acheive this old dream (I did the same trip when I finished my
studies in California back in 1987 (20 years ago) but back then I was alone
and did the trip by Greyhound bus!);
we are looking for a US family owning a motorhome ( sleeping for 3 adults
and 3 children) in the west part of the US in order to exchange it with our
home + car in France

so if you would like to :
- spend several weeks in France this summer , then cross the US from East
to West in your own motorhome , maybe can we work something out together (I
am open to your offer), since we will finish our trip in NYC to board the
motorcycles in a container for France while we will fly back to Paris..

i would like to add that I have been renting and driving several times
before large motorhomes from Cruise America , Idaho RV rentals ,El Monte RV
, and also from a Homeexchange.com member from North California (I can
provide references) , and know the value of them and the extreme care needed
when using them.

We hope you will be interested , don't hesitate to contact us and if not
interested , maybe could you pass this email to friends or relative owning a
motorhome ?

Veuillez agreer , Madame , Monsieur , nos plus chaleureuses salutations

Olivier Boer , Fontainebleau , France
