If no one has yet told you there is an RV HF net. It meets on 7.230 MHz at 1900 CST It is a good place to check into.

why not try 14.300 ?
They are on all day and happy to have you meet and QSY. They have relay stations all over as well. In the morning its the Intercontinental net and in the afternoon its the Maritime Mobile Service net. An RV net i was told about is 14.263 about 2 pm Eastern Armin VA3YB |
