Anyone figured the trick for NOT having wrinkled clothes from a splendide unit?

I try to wash a load every day if we are on an extended trip and have sewer hook ups. I only dry a few things at a time. If I wash the queen size sheets with two pillow cases then I dry one sheet and one pillow case at a time. If I wash four of my cotton blouses I dry two at a time for about 20 min and take them out and hang them right away. If they are damp they will air dry and few wrinkles.

I never let the clothes go from wash to dry with out me taking them out and shaking them.

I love being able to wash and dry clothes in the motor home but agree that wrinkles are a problem if the clothes are crowded or stay in the dryer too long. Unless my clothes or DH clothes are super dirty I skip the prewash cycle. This does save time on the regular wash cycle.

I've found that if I remove and fold/hang the clothes within a few minutes of the dryer cycle stopping, the wrinkles tend to mostly go away.

PS; we have a Splendide 2000

We also wash and dry frequently. Good from a couple of standpoints. Need a lot fewer clothes. Need a lot less closet space.

My wife, like Ann, takes her clothes out between wash and dry and shakes them out, the removes them promptly when the dryer quits. I don't care very much about a few wrinkles. Drives her crazy.

We love our Splendide.

A friend of mine with a Splende shakes out the clothes between the wash and dry cycle then hangs up clothes as soon as dryer is done. I had heard about using vinegar but haven't tried it myself. Found this web link for using vinegar to remove clothing wrinkles:
Vinegar to prevent Clothing Wrinkles

Things You’ll Need:

* 1 cup plain white vinegar
* 1/2 cup baking soda
* 4 to 6 tennis balls
* Hangers

Step1
Add white vinegar during the rinse cycle. It will help eliminate static cling, lint and wrinkles. And don't worry, your clothes won't smell like vinegar once you take them out of the wash.
Step2
Throw four to six tennis balls into the dryer with your clothes. They'll make more noise in your dryer than usual, but they won't harm your dryer. The tennis balls keep the air in the dryer moving and prevent the clothes from clumping together. This not only helps eliminate wrinkles, but it also makes your clothes dry faster and saves energy.
Step3
Hang up freshly dried clothes immediately to keep wrinkles from setting in.
De-Wrinkling Clothes That Are Already Clean
Step1
Place clothing item on a hanger.
Step2
Hang item in the bathroom and run a hot shower. The steam will act as a de-wrinkler for the garment.
Step3
Another option is to throw the wrinkled garment into the dryer with a wet sock and tumble for 10 minutes.

I only use my Splendide for underclothes, socks and towels (it makes a great laundry hamper for smelly socks, too)--I simply don't have the patience to do anything else in it! I'd rather spend a couple of hours every 10-12 days in a laundromat than try to remember to switch clothes in and out of the Splendide 4-6 times a day at exactly the moment it stops.

However, I've found that adding liquid fabric softener when I load the washer helps eliminate some of the wrinkles.

We stuck one of those cheapie expandable cafe curtain rods in the shower under the skylight. Makes a neat place the let the stuff from the W/D finish drying.

Put 1 or 2 clean tennis balls when the dryer cycle starts. Keeps wrinkles down and dries quicker.

If you do a load a day, that is only 1 time to shake them out if you are really worried about wrinkles. I don't do that - just make sure it is a balanced load and that it isn't crammed full, I start and when finished I take out and shake and hang up anything still damp. That's it. The liquid fabric softener helps as do the tennis balls.

When we had a Splendide (non-vented) I found that if I ran the clothes thru a second final spin helped immensely. I also fluffed a little before drying and always hung items up. Never had issues with it.

I find that I only dry things for 20 minutes, then I hang them up to finish drying. It seems to be good enough that they looked like they've ironed. Some of my permanent press stuff I don't even run the dryer for -- I just hang it up.
