Their classified indicate a large "for sale/for rent" list. I wonder if this is connected to fuel prices or normal turnover? I looked at the weather history for that zip code, the Jan/Feb/Mar numbers are a little cold for us.

Remain laidback and unruffled, camping is great!

Ray,
I think it is a little bit of both. When you look at the age group in an RV park, the mortality numbers are kind of high. Certainly the fuel prices don't help it, but the park was full last winter in January, Febuary and March. Another factor is that a number of members own more than one lot, so they need to rent one of them.
We purchased the lot as an investment, after hearing of the explosive growth in the Casa Grande area 4 years ago. Then two years ago, a friend convinced us to buy a lot in their park in Florida, again, an investment opportunity. We'd like to rent either one. If both get rented, we'll continue our fulltime vagabond traveling ways. Gene
