Allen-n-Kitty: I have a Honda EU1000 which I love and is not for sale. You cannot beat a Honda for durability and performance however, if you are planning to run your a/c unit, (assuming it is a 15k unit) you may want to go larger than the EU2000. I don't remember all the particulars (Do a search) but I remember that a 15K a/c/ unit requires approx 2500 watts for the start-up phase. The Honda EU 3000 is perfect (but heavy). That is the reason you see many rv'ers with a pair of EU 2000's and the wiring to be able to run parallel. For about the same price as a 3000, you have more versatility (use one when you need it, or two when you need them) and less weight of individual units. With this info and 50-cents you can get a cup of coffee.

Yes, we've come to realize that. I had thought I could use the 3000w EU3000i, but the manual for the airconditioner recommends that the generator used to drive it be at least 3.5 KW (3500 watts)...so we are buying two Honda EU2000i's (or Yamaha EF2400is). I said generator(s) because we may not be able to buy them both from the same party.
