I understand that we can now get our perscriptions mailed to us. Since I have to now stand in line to get a number to stand in line to get a prescription, I'm wondering if it might just be easier to get it mailed to me, especially on the road.
Has anyone used this service.

I use Express Scripts to my stick house. You can change the address they are mailed to and even have faster shipping but that costs extra. I don't think it would be a problem for you, why not give them a call to be sure?

I have used them on the road but they do occasionally make mistakes, it is due to the fact that they have people doing the job there. I requested a one time order be shipped to Denali, Ak last summer and instead of shipping it all in one package, they chose to send it in 2, one arrived the other did not until 3 weeks later. Another time they shipped me 7 units of one item and none of 2 others. It is less expensive than going to the local CVS or Walgreens, due to the fact that the doc can write it for a 3 month supply for a months payment. george

We use Express Scripts for some of the wife's prescriptions. We've had them sent to "an alternate address" with no problems, but normally just have 'em sent to our Escapees address and let them forward to wherever we are.

Another good feature, you can order on line. No need to call and spend several minutes pushing buttons on the phone.

On your last refill, they send a form for the doctor to sign and fax in.

Use Express Scripts all the time for maintenance medications. If you want them to ship to a different address, you have to phone in. Otherwise, they will automatically send a refill to your address of record. Some Doctors do not like giving 90 day perscription with 3 refills. They like to see you at least twice a year. I did not receive a shipment once and they replaced it at no cost and credited the refill.

We have had great service from them. Always using a new address, nothing lost so far.
Do pay attention to the expiration date for your RX. Since they ship 90 days you need to stay ahead of your refill dates otherwise it is easy to end up with a refill due but the RX has expeired and they can't send it. Did that once. Also if you forget to order a refill in time to have it reach you and it is a urgent daily drug you can call them and they will arrange a 30 emergency refill at a drugstore.
Pretty good service as far as we are concerned.
