Tks. Any way I can find out if a guy claiming to have been a SEAL really was? That site didn't turn him up.

Ya know. I ran into one of those "see thru" SEALS once. I looked him up and of course I knew what I would find. Then I started to thinking about why a man should have to lie like that. Then came the real tragedy. I think he had such low self esteem and worthlessness about himself that he'd do just about any thing to feel good. I am not defending him, I am just trying to understand what's going on underneath that would make a person do that.

I used to have low esteem and lack of appreciation.

8 Years in the U.S.M.C. took care of that.

Saw a 60 mins report on a guy that frequently wore the uniform of a Navy Captain, with a Medal of Honor sash and medal, also a seal pin. He was a fraud, in fact had been 4f as an army draftee. He had lots of lady friends that he sucked dry of their money. Of course all the medals/ribbons and other gedunk was purchased at various Army/Navy stores. george

Dear Lord, lest I continue my complacent way, help me to remember that somewhere, somehow out there a man died for me today. As long as there be war, I then must ask and answer am I worth dying for? Elenor Roosevelt.
