We are an RVing couple who have been full timing for 10 years. We are looking to be in the same state as our grandchildren for the winter.

If you don't want to leave your home unattended, we would be happy to <b>house/pet sit</b> for you Nov-Mar in western Oregon (kids are in portland and brookings). We have a toy poodle and a cat, both well mannered. We just want to be near enough to drive to see them - not nec to be in the same town.

I was introduced to this site by friends. My spouse and I have now registered. I am replying as we may be able to help you out, and you would be doing us a great favor as well.My spouse is in the military. Navy. He is stationed in the state of Washington. He comes home on most weekends. We are looking for a honest, responsible couple to stay at our home from time to time.Your November thru March would be a start. However,for exchange of house sitting/ small careduties and petsitting services, this couple will also be asked to not only feed our own pets, but also care for our pet boarding business from time to time. It is very small business. We only have six kennels and they are not always filled.There may be days when there are no customer pets at all. Winters are slower. I would definitely be home here for Thanksgiving and Christmas. My clients have well behaved pets and the kennel business duties are very, very easy for you, if you love pets.You do need to be able to walk up and down a hill on a side walk.Three times daily. Our home is here in Oakridge Oregon.It is near Eugene. You would have to travel a bit to get to Portland or Brookings however, the ride is beautiful and you also have the option of taking the train or bus from here which is very reasonable and a great way to see the country side. I would be willing to take you to the station and pick you up as well when the need is there.
I would like to be able to go up where my spouse is stationed in the military.Banger Washington. During the times I go up there, I need a couple here at our home. We live on two beautiful acres in the Cascade Mountains. It is a beautiful recreational area.MOUNTAINS, LAKES, RIVERS AND MORE... Our home is very private and sits on a hillside with spectaculiar views.There is a golf course directly across the street.You would also have plenty of free time when you are here in Oregon. I just need the pets fed three times daily. I would like to be able to go see my spouse one weekend a month and also I am looking at going up there during the week days at the very end of the week from time to time. As for you wanting to be with your grand children in Portland/Brookings.We could work out a schedule in order that you can get up to see your family the days that I do not go up to see my spouse.There would be plenty of days for you,as I would only go from time to time up there.
