Anyone who might be waiting for their order, seems a lot of back orders! I received an e-mail today saying they are no longer going to deal with the RVing public. They are tired of the rudeness of RVers who haven't received their order and are calling to complain. They will now only sell to the trucking industry!

Are you kidding me?
I have a lot of back orders for my product and people couldn't be any nicer. If they said that to me BEFORE I received the product I might be wondering how they would act AFTER I had the product and needed service. |

I am unhappy with them cashing my credit card and then not shipping. I managed to get my order cancelled and a refund before another one of those emails telling me they are great and the delay is to give me a better product. I suggest you stay away until they can ship from stock.
BTW, they claim to have shipped several hundred, but I've never seen a post from anyone who actually had one... DirecTV representatives to the RVing community Specializing in High Definition - come see our demo! |

Just to clarify my statement above about my product back orders...
I DO NOT charge any credit cards until I ship the product. It may not even be legal for them to do that. I know Visa, MC, Discover and American Express would all frown on that happening. |

That is outrageous! I know a great couple who can sell you a tire pressure monitoring system, will actually deliver the product, and are HAPPY to deal with RVers. That would be our own Mike and Pat McFall, fellow Escapees and vendors for PressurePro www.pressureprosystem.com Why go anywhere else when we can do business with our own and know we'll be taken care of? Why go any where else Nick....they wanted to "save" money. My question is: What if they'd had 2 tire failures while waiting for this "fantastic new lower priced product".
I'm glad we went with Mike & Pat. They deliver and it works! Teacher's Pet '06 40' Phaeton QSH 350 Cat. 2 Scotties on board http://www.skoolzoutforever.blogspot.com http://map.datastormusers.com/user3.cfm?user=3912 |

Boy, if they are that great BEFORE you get their product, think of how great they are going to be to work with AFTER the sale. Ho ho.
Another vote for Mike and Pat McFall. Great people, great product, great service. Doesn't get any better than that. Some people just insist on "value shopping".
Now, I do that on food and staples, but for things that really matter - and safety does matter to me - then I don't use an evaluation system that has "cost" anywhere near the top of the list. I look at proven technology first, the track record of the manufacturing company, service from the supplier, references from people I believe - not marketing material, how the product stacks up against similar PROVEN products in the same industry, and ONLY THEN do I look at cost. Obviously some people reverse this process.... I have Pressure Pro. For a valve stem monitoring system I believe that is still the top choice out there. I did not buy my original system from Mike and Pat - since I bought before there was really a distribution system in place and I purchased directly from the company. I HAVE bought my add-on sensors and upgraded monitor from Mike and Pat, and they are who I recommend. You can not get better service. Simple as that. IMO, every fulltimer should have a tire monitor system. You simply have no idea what is going on with the toad or trailer. I've heard all the arguments why they are not necessary, and frankly, they don't hold water. Kindof like the seatbelt arguements, IMO. Now if you just WANT to not run a tire monitor, then that is your choice, but don't try to justify it with some convoluted logic...Like everything else, you make your decisions and bear the consequences of those decisions. Sorry, kinda got carried away here....can you tell I believe in tire pressure monitoring?? Depending on where the vendor is located, NY for example, it is LEGAL to charge your CC at the moment of placing the order and then shipping whenever they get around to it. The camera e-industry is terrible this way.

I don't have a problem with my credit card being charged before an item is shipped, as long as I'm INFORMED of this before I order, as long as I am told whether the item is in stock (or what the backorder delay will be) and as long as I can cancel the order without penalty anytime prior to the order being shipped.

I'm one of those that ordered that system. They charged my card the day after in Jan and so far nothing but excuses. All I can say is the guy that wrote the last email from the company is a whinner!

We also bought a system from Mike and Pat. Wouldn't be with out it now. Have had it over a 2 1/2 with no big problems. You can't go wrong with a Pressure Pro system.

To me, service after the sale is just as important as getting the product to start with. Sounds like with this bunch (SAF-TEE) you get neither. I'm glad i went with Mike and Pat and PressurePro.

Call your card company and have the charge removed, might have to follow up with a letter to make it official. Call and cancel your order with SAF-TEE and tell them you had the charge removed.
No reason to put up with that kind of nonsense and if they are "having issues" best to get your money back early.
