Jack: When you are at the Caverns, There is a Shell station on the corner of 82. Go east from the Shell station about 1/2 mile on your right. K & N RV park. Site 12 right in the middle.

Jim: We're leaving Canada Nov. 15 heading south for the winter, going to be back at Yuma at Del Pueblo (same site you saw us at) again for Dec 1st thru to Mar. 1st. After that we think we'll try to get into Blazing Star in San Antonio for a few days at least to motorcycle tour the area. Then we're going to wander.

Today is just the tomorrow you worried about yesterday!

Hey Guys,

Jack M. and Trapshooter, by all means lets get together this winter and break wind er bread.

bstark,

We stayed at Blazing Star a couple of years ago. It is a pretty park but the streets are very narrow and the entrances and exits from the campsites are laughable. No matter what you do you will tear up the grass getting in and out. We now stay at the Alamo Fiesta park in Boerne, tx. when ever we are in the San Antonio area. It is a nice park with lots of room for big rigs. Just a thought.....

Keep makin' happy tracks,

This is a great thread! I love hearing where everyone else is traveling to. We are stuck in Ft. Bragg, NC for a while but will be taking a trip to MN at the end of October for a couple weeks of leave. Yes, I'm Polish!
Vela1 - we met in the field at McChord last year when I first brought our truck home. Hope all has been going well. When you get to DMAFB stop and say howdy to Bob & Ruth in the loop across from the office in site 33 I believe. They have a big KOR. He drives truck and I've been trying to convince him to get rid of the little F350 he has and buy a real truck. Maybe if he sees yours it will help. Take care

Boy, you guys know how to make those of us still working feel bad!

We're home, Bud and the trailer are in for the winter.

Saw a "motor home" with a custom bed going through St Charles, IL last Saturday around noon. Only caught the back of it so I don't know what it was. Anyone here?

Hey Vinnie,

How about meeting us in Yuma or Quarsite in Jan?
That way you and Sandy can get another scent of full timing and get out of the cold too.

Keep makin' happy tracks,

Now in Tucson until the middle of December. We went to Colorado Springs after the rally once we ransomed the truck from Doonans at 4:00PM. It spent more than 2 weeks in the shop, not happy about it or the bill.

Mike, are you not happy about the quality of work done, or just not happy about throwing the money into the truck? Just curious. Oh, and the working stiffs known as Troy and Lesa are spending the winter in lovely Altus, OK working till we're stiff Frown

It looks like i'll be stuck here in Anchorage for most of the winter taking care of bizness.

I was contacted by a guy who wanted to buy my truck. I don't want to sell, but I migt be interested in leasing it to him on a net-net-net lease to haul produce from the Seattle area to here for the Fred Meyer stores. Probably a round trip weekly. It would help my cashflow, Maybe that's a good enough reason to keep the tandem axles and Holland hitch in place. We are discussing it now. It's gotta be worth the extra wear and tear and risk - or I'd rather park it for the winter. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
