I didn't want to hijack MakinSmoke's thread on trailer for scooter, but what he is looking for is what we are looking for. But now we need ideas for the hitch system.
The trailers linked too are small like we want, and I really prefer the one DIYGuy linked to, as it appears to have a narrower track than the harbor freight trailer. We want to tow a trailer behind our 250, but I don't have a clue where to look for a hitch system that will work for our bike. All we will be putting in the trailer are the dogs, or occasionally some groceries. John,
You might post this question on the BurgmanUSA Forum. I know there are several users there who tow trailers. 2000 Volvo 770, 525HP/1650FP Cummins N14 and 10 Speed Autoshift 3.58 Rear 202" WB, 2002 Teton Aspen Royal 43 Foot, Burgman 400 Scooter |

ghillie,
Long story short, I could not find a "stock" hitch for my scooter. I went to a machine shop fabricator and in about 45 minutes he/we designed a bolt-on hitch. The guy is charging me $150.00. I pick it up next week and I'll try to get a picture posted. This message has been edited.
