As wanna-bes the wife and I were discussing if our schedules would allow us to attend this year. Between traveling for work the first week of September and then taking off to see Yellowstone at the end of the season in the middle of September, I don't think we will be able to break away in October for the rally this year.

Hepefully next year. I think we will be closer to making a move on a bigger trailer by then and need to be looking at a HDT at that time.

Bringing this forward again.

The mailbox we have rented this year as in the past for the previous rallies is really feeling neglected.

As of today, 7/11/08 we have 8 registrations received.

Planning a rally of the proportion we anticipate is very difficult with this response.

Please, if you are planning on attending this function, send in your registration forms. The time frame for deposits and notifications is fast becoming critical.

Wouldn't you know this years rally coincides with our 40 year high school reunion in Minnesota. The reunion isn't until the final weekend so I plan to be at the rally most of the week. I need to confirm a few things before sending in my registration.

I really wanted to be there again this year but could not convince the wife it would be a better place to celebrate our 40th than on a Panama Canal cruise. Go figure. Frown

If the river don't rise and the rally is on, we will be there, in fact we will be there a few days early. So I will be sending off the money soon but we have been pretty busy.

Since we are in the Pacific Northwest for the whole summer and have to return to California in October to pick up the equipment we are taking to Retama, we will not be going to Kansas this year. Just too far to run there and then back to California right before going to Retama.

See you in Retama.

Status Bump,

Great news everybody, the Rally is definately ON! We have enough commitments from attendees and vendors to proceed unabated.

Shirt size note: sorry it took so long to get this info. The base shirt that I had selected has gone out of production in the colors we wnated to use, so a replacement supplier has been found. The mens shirt will be a little more blue and a little less green (The actual color name is Seafoam), but still a muted color.

The ladies shirt is available in womens sizes XS-2X.

I have enough shirts pre-ordered to meet our minimums there as well.
