My air bags on the back of the sleeper are leaking. I want to get the parts before I remove them.

Is there a part# on them or do I have to measure them or?

I am in BFE so is there somewhere to buy them on line?

Thansk

Does the cab suspension have a manufacturer name on a tag? Mine is Link Mfg., but there may or may not have been more than one supplier. If so, the bags will be different.

Let me know what you find out. I'll see if I can find a part number if you've got a Link suspension, because mine needed new bags, too, and I may have something on them.

My tag is on the top of the cab suspension framework, just below the part that bolts onto the cab. The tag on mine is red.

If you have a Link Manufacturing cab suspension, the air spring numbers are as follows:

Kenworth Part #R81-1002
Link Mfg. Part #1102-A082

If your cab suspension was made by another supplier, you'll probably have to call a Kenworth dealer for the correct part number. Frown

Phil Thanks for the help but I dont see the tag. Is it in the front of the cab or rear? Do I need to open the hood? Or are you talking in the cab?

The tag on mine is right on the framework of the cab suspension itself, in the rear center of the cab, just below where the cab is bolted to the cab suspension, and to the left of the cab leveling valve.

One way we might be able to narrow this down (by eliminating the possibility that your cab suspension and mine are the same, unfortunately) is with your build date, if it's still visible on the data stickers in the driver's side door jamb. According to Link Mfg.'s web site, the suspension that I gave you the air spring part numbers for, what they call Model #KWT2000-A, has been installed on T2000s built after March of 1999. If your truck was built during or prior to March, 1999, we're on a wild goose chase. You don't say what year your truck is, but a production month of April 1999 or later would likely mean that the Link Cabmate KWT2000-A is probably only used on 2000 model year trucks and up.

That picture that you posted earlier is the view from under the cab, isn't it? I can't see mine from that angle to compare mine to yours without removing a lot of lower cab fairing. Do you have one or more shots of the suspension from the rear outside of the cab? If nothing else, that view would let me see if you've got a tag where mine does, and might even let me figure out if you've got the same suspension as mine does or not.

Thanks for the link Pipeline. I have to replace the bags on my COE and they have the right parts - and about $350.00 less than Freightliner Smile
