One more park host is needed to share the duties.

Three of us will be splitting the work at a park that opened last summer. I did most of last summer by myself and worked less than 2-3 hours per day. It's expected to be busier this summer, but not that much more because the owner has done no advertising.

Job duties include checking guests in, taking reservations, keeping the place neat and cleaned up, checking the hot tub chemicals, making sure the restrooms/showers are clean, and helping put together a marketing campaign. The lawn will have to be mowed every couple of weeks. It's equal to a large yard and would be mowed over a couple of days as it's unknown whether the battery mower, although it is a good one, will do it all in one go. Some minor maintenance will be done as well.

Now the two of us that are already signed on have a lot of maintenance experience, so it's not critical that someone have those skills. The plan is that between us everything gets done and none of us have to put in very many hours. If the park gets so busy that it's taking more time than is equitable, then we can get another host to help us.

Silverton is in SW Colorado at 9300 feet. It is surrounded by mountains rising to above 13000. The Durango Silverton train comes in four times a day during the peak season. The rest of the time it's just a sleepy little town.

If you like the mountains this is a great place to be.

A happy life is just a string of happy moments. But most people don't allow the happy moment, because they're so busy trying to get a happy life. ~ Abraham-Hicks
