Well I am joining the class of '08 for my husband and I. One more school year to work - I'm a senior now - not going to be a 5th year senior We are already getting things to auction off in the spring. Cleaning and wrapping the tiki-taks. Boxing up clothes etc. My hadicapped mom lives with us - (83) but we have told my sisters this is the last year we will take care of her. We want to hit the road next September. I can't wait. Don't have a new 5er yet but we can always use our little 17" Bantam Flier if worse comes to worse. After all its getting on the road and seeing things that we are looking forward too. Course it could get a bit crowded with 2 dogs, and 1 cat, and the two of us but who cares right Will keep checking this site to see how the rest of you are doing getting ready to go.
Welcome, Banties!! We, too, are going to go FT in 08. We just got a "new to us" 37' diesel pusher. We have been taking little shake down tours to see what needs work; what won't work for us and just generally living in it at the sticks and bricks we are selling.........(please make it soon) I retire in January and will wind our life here in Wyoming down; finish packing the bus and will be ready to hit the road, April 1. The shakedown trips have been exceedingly humorous.
Good luck with the downsizing; '08 is just around the corner.
