We made it to Newfoundland and it is beautiful Smile The people are so friendly as well as the many travelers that we have met along the way.

So far, the campground prices have been a lot less then what we pay in the USA. Big Grin Helps a little toward the cost of Diesel which ha been running about $6.50 per gallon Eek

Hey all!

We had dinner last night with nana25k (Ron, Linda and her sister Arlene) at the Country Table in Nappanee. Ron and Linda's 5er is getting some work done and we had a chance to go out, eat, and enjoy some great conversation. It was great to hook up with some other S. Dakotans!

We are parked at Weathers RV Park in Eagle Nest, NM. Originally we were only staying one week, but have found it so nice here that we've extended our stay for a month. If any of you get in this direction, stay at this park - it's the only one with true lake view at all sites.

Janice and Dean,

So glad you got to the DAV Memorial. I thought it was incredible, too.

"So glad you got to the DAV Memorial."

If you are referring to the Vietnam Memorial in Angle Fire, it was incredible. Funny how we tend to forget things that happen in the past. Watching the film sure brought it all back, just like the Murrah Memorial in Oklahoma City did. Brings you to tears.

We are in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada with Jim and Sherri. Wow!!! This place sure is gorgeous. We have seen numerous animals that make the park home. Things cost a lot more here than in the states. We will be leaving here on the 19th and then we will be winging our way back to the states.

We were in Jasper sometime in August of '06 and I remember posting pictures of the 2 salads and 2 drinks we had and paid $72.00... I sure hope they haven't gone up more.

Today we paid $6.64 for a gallon of gas in Newfoundland. Ouch
