I finally purchased a Microsoft V5000 video cam to have video phone calls with my son on AIM. Works great, but I HATE aol and all of the garbage that comes with it! Thanks to everyone for their suggestions on the best to buy in anther posting.

We currently are workamping and use the free wifi here at the park. I have a AT&T aircard that I still use while sighseeing in the car, etc. We will be moving to another workamping position in a few weeks and will only have wifi at the clubhouse.
Question...will the aircard support video calls? Or will I be limited to choppy sight/sound?

The aircard - at least a Verizon - will support a video call. It is a little choppy, but acceptable. Voice is variable depending on burst speed. It is better to use the phone for voice, in most cases.
